Ever wonder what those strange abbreviations mean? What about those strange words that don't appear on any other ParentsPlace board? Well, here they are, with their definitions:

  • BM/EBM = Breast milk / Expressed Breast milk
  • BSL = Big Splashy Letdowns
  • CYE = Check your email
  • DC = Day Care
  • DCP = Day Care Provider
  • DD = Darling (dear or *#&$) Daughter
  • DH = Darling (dear or *#&$) Husband
  • DS = Darling (dear or *#&$) Son
  • DSO = Darling (dear or *#&$) Significant Other

  • HTH = Hope this helps (also IHTH: I hope this  helps)
  • IKWYM = I know what you mean
  • IMHO = In my honest (or humble) opinion
  • ITA = I totally agree
  • IYKWIM = If you know what I mean
  • LVP = Low volume pumper
  • Moo = Your little one / nursling / baby
  • OMG = Oh my gosh / goodness / God!
  • PIS = Pump in Style (Medela's pump)
  • PPV = Positive pumping vibes

  • PY = Purely Yours (Ameda/Egnell's pump)
  • Queenmoo = The highlighted w&p board member. There is only one per board and is only done on a clean, fresh board.
  • RTA = Respond or reply to archives
  • Secretmoo = Our secret pal game
  • TIA = Thanks in advance
  • YMMV = Your mileage may vary (You might get different results)
